Why did you learn to play the guitar?

 

After being mocked at for using a guitar as a prop during a singing competition.

 

Describe your first experience playing on a guitar.

 

Was so crazy playing it until fingers were so painful, grabbed ice cubes to soothe the pain and resumed playing soon after.

 

What is the best thing about being a guitarist?

 

Only got 6 strings to take care of, comparing to 88 keys. lol.

 

Describe your most memorable guitar-related incident.

 

Once jammed with another guitarist band mate for straight two hours non-stop, as we impromptu linked song after song in continuation, under the same key.

 

How many guitars do you currently own?

 

Eight. Gibson Hummingbird Ebony, Gibson J-45 1960s, Gibson Les Paul Studio, Takamine EF-341SC, Yamaha AC3R, an old Suzuki acoustic, J&D classical guitar & a Yamaha old classical guitar.

 

If your house is on fire, which one would you run out with? Why?

 

The one in the Mono gig bag, because i can run faster with it comparing to a hard case. lol.

 

First guitar: Yamaha classical guitar. 2004.

 

Favourite guitar brand/ model: Gibson. Love their sound and their designs.

 

Favourite guitarist: Jon Bon Jovi. Because he is an all-round awesome musician.

 

First song you learned to play on guitar: The More We Get Together.

 

Song you love to play most on guitar: 兩個矮人 - My first cantonese original composed using a guitar.

 

Most difficult song you have played on guitar: Songs with B or B minor chords!

 

Tips for aspiring guitarists: Don't be a technical player, be a soulful player.
